The Shrine of Virtues Game

This is a PVP-based game for players who are part of an Order or Chaos guild. Players who are not in an appropriate guild cannot participate.

Location

Game rules

  • The game starts every 3 hours, lasting 30 minutes. A global broadcast goes out at the start.
  • Players inside the play zone at the start will be tele-stormed outside of the zone to ensure a fair start.
  • Every minute, the side with more active, visible players inside the shrine area (marble tile) will gain one point.
  • Each time points are calculated, the dominating side is considered to be in control. This info is broadcast to all players inside the zone.
  • Both sides have healer NPCs that will only heal their own guild type (determined by controlling side)
  • When a player resurrects, they are restored to full health
  • When a player resurrects, their corpse is teleported to them and auto-looted/opened
  • Every 10 minutes, all Order/Chaos players online will receive an update on the game, regardless of location.
  • You must be moving, alive, and visible in order to be counted for your team & receive points.
  • The winning side receives 2000 cxp, the losing side receives 750 cxp.
  • The winning side receives a victory token.

New Features and Fixes

  • Dead players can go to a safe healer's chamber to be healed back to full life. There is one room per side and one teleporter into the room per side. Upon resurrection the player's body is teleported to their feet. This fix eliminates rezz-killing and drastically lowers the chance to be looted (but you've got to be quick!)
  • Games are now synced to start 5 minutes past the hour on the normal 3-hour schedule.
