Mining allows a character to remove ore from a cave or mountainside and smelt it into ingots which may then be used to forge weapons, armor and tinkered tools. There are currently 9 types of ore that can be mined in increasing difficulty.

=Skill Training=

Use [http://www.easyuo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=77252#77252 CyberPopes Mining Radar] to locate spots and categorize them (also writes UOAM map files!). Mark until you have several resource squares worth of the highest ore you can mine. At 95+ this can take a while as Verite and Valorite spots are few and far between.

Once you have a bunch of spots marked, use [http://www.easyuo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=57705#57705 Jebbits Easy Rail Miner] to automate until you reach the next ore level.

Rinse and repeat.
